Electric fence energisers are of course main component of an electric fence which transforms the power from the source either battery or mains into a current which can power the fence. In our store we have a wide selection or wet battery, dry battery and mains powered energisers to choose from.
The PP8, 6 volt battery is an alkaline dry cell battery. This is a top grade 6 volt battery and as long as its not earned by any vegetation should last in the region of 6 months, depending on temperature. This is a 0% mercury and 0% cadmium battery.
One of our most popular dry cell batteries this batter is rated to 55Ah and fits our B2 Fencer. As with all our batteries they are 0% cadmium and mercury. This battery and its appriopaite engergise (B2) are used everywhere for all types of animals. Including cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, alpacas and Lamas.

This is a powerful 12v battery energiser from Horizont suitable for medium length electric fences, up to about 4 km. Suitable for all animals, this is ideal if you want an energiser that has the same capabilities in terms of voltage as the Copel M2 but runs from a 12v battery.
The sturdy casing is ideally suited to living outdoors and it comes with 4 lugs to either screw it to a post or wall or simply hang it up by your electric fence. The A2 comes with it’s own short earth stake and connection leads.
This B2 fencer/energiser is suitable for use with most 9 volt or 6 volt (PP8) dry batteries. Suitable for small paddocks and short fences with little vegetation. Battery not included. The Copel M7 from Horizont is a mains powered electric fence energiser for medium to long fences and is suitable for fencing all types of animals.
This very powerful 6 joule (3 output joules) energiser packs a lot more power than the M4 and is probably our best value mains electric fencer.
With a unit this powerful, it’s best to work out the length of fence you wish to power before considering the quality of poly-tape, rope, twine or wire being used. Only the higher grades of fencing conductor would be able to carry the current over the considerable distances this powerful energiser can handle.
These couldn’t be easier to install. Just mount them on a wall, attach earth & live cable (not incl), plug in and that’s it!

This is a considerably stronger electric fencing energiser than the A2 and is ideally suited for people who have longer electric fences or who are potentially having a long fence. Even under a light load (slight vegetation earthing) it will travel 8km easily. While it comes with it’s own short earth stake and connection leads, we would recommend using a longer galvanised 1m earth stake if this Copel A4 is to be powering some distance of line.
Like the A2, it has a very strong weather resistant casing with lugs on each corner to attach to a fence or hang it up by.
This is a superb value energiser and when the power output is compared to it’s price, the A4 has to be one of the best value 12v battery units on the market today.
