About W Burton and Sons
Welcome to W Burton and Son one of the North Midlands leading importers, distributors and processors of timber, agricultural equipment and landscaping products for agricultural, equestrian tradespeople and DIY use.
We are a family business established in 1955 and run by three generations of the same family. We live locally and support our local community.
We provide wholesale wood products to builders’ merchants, timber merchants, garden building and shed manufacturers, and to the joinery manufacturing and constructions sectors.
We have two depots in Staffordshire, the original at Threapwood near Cheadle and our new depot found at Bramshall Farm, Uttoxeter. We deliver our timber products throughout the UK but predominantly in the East and West Midlands areas using our own professional and fully equipped delivery teams.
We pride ourselves in providing premium products at great prices and providing excellent customer service.
Our Timber Yards and Shops
We have a timber yard and store in Threapwood just outside Cheadle in North Staffordshire. The site comprises several acres of storage for our timber, gates and other products.
We have a walk-in shop and showroom with product demonstration areas where you can get expert advice, browse our products and purchase our full range of products. It is open for both retail and trade customers.

We recently opened our second depot at the rear of Bramshall Farm Garden Centre and have a fully stocked timber yard and shop open to retail and trade customers.
This is a modern, fully equipped timber yard, insulated warehouse and retail store. We have introduced new product lines and increased the range of stock here at Bramshall.
